Scott Laio was a Boston College Varsity Lightweight oarsman from Rochester, NY who was tragically lost on May 14, 2005 – as his crew crossed the finish line first at the Dad Vail regatta.  Scott was a loving son and brother, a committed student athlete, and a deeply engaged friend to many in the Rochester and Boston College communities. 

Proceeds from the Scott Laio Memorial Golf Tournament benefit  the Scott Laio Memorial CHillRA Fund, which was initiated to fund a permanent remembrance of Scott, and to support future development of Boston College Crew.
